My paintings are primarily watercolor landscapes.  The play of intense morning or afternoon light on nature's forms is particularly fascinating.  Strong value contrasts that emphasize light are frequently present in my work.  In addition to the landscapes, I enjoy painting skyscapes, rustic buildings and old world scenes.
